ABOUT US

Our owner and founder, Hope Linker Jobes, started her social media marketing agency from her couch while working a traditional 9-5 at a local marketing agency. She knew that she didn’t want to spend the rest of her life in a cubicle, and she really wanted to create an innovative and modern agency that specialized in helping her favorite types of businesses: the wedding, beauty, and fashion industries.

So, she fired up her laptop, built a website, and started branding herself around social media, marketing, and business. While her then-boyfriend-now husband was working night shift, she built her own marketing agency in her “free time” and matched her corporate income in less than one year.

Fast forward to today, she has worked one-on-one with hundreds of businesses and undoubtedly helped thousands of people through her valuable social media, blog, and email content. Chic Communications is operated with a team that specializes in social media marketing, email marketing, organic search engine optimization, photography, and digital advertising and has over 24 years of experience.

Whether you’re local to northern Illinois and want to elevate your online presence with in-person support or you’re located across the country, Chic Communications can help you convey your message authentically and strategically and make sure your ideal customers think of YOU next time they need what you have to offer.

We work with new clients on a 3-month basis initially. We have found that 3 months is short enough that it’s not a massive commitment for most business owners but it gives you the opportunity to see what it’s like to invest in high-quality marketing services for your business. On the other hand, 3 months is long enough for us to truly establish some consistency and positive results for
your online presence.
